68th Republic Day Celebrations



The 68th Republic Day was celebrated by the Income tax and Customs & Central Excise Department on 26th January, 2017 in the lawns New Central Revenue Building, Jaipur. Officers/Staff and their family members actively participated in the celebrations with enthusiasm and fervor braving intense cold and heavy rains. The celebrations began with flag hoisting by the Hon’ble Chief Guest Ms. Ameeta Saini, Pr. Chief Commissioner of Income tax, Rajathan Jaipur. The whole gathering joined for National Anthem which reverberated in the surroundings. In her address to the gathering, the Hon’ble Pr. Chief Commissioner of Income tax stressed upon the need of taking ‘Swacch Bharat Abhiyan’ to the office and the surroundings. “What we do for our nation is more important than what the nation does for us” these words really inspired all the people.
The beautiful dance and skit numbers presented by the children made the environment more vibrant. The melodious songs and music as presented by the employees of Income tax and Customs & Central Excise Department spellbound the audience. The celebrations ended with the felicitation of eminent Sportspersons of the Department and the participants by the Hon’ble Chief Guest. See More……..
